Why You Should Buy A Guitar With Railhammer Pickups

Railhammer pickups imageInvented by Joe Naylor, Railhammer pickups provide a unique sonic solution. Pickups with "rails" have been around for some time now. These rails have a distinct advantage in the lower pitch range of the guitar. They keep the low end nice and tight, and prevents the low notes from sounding muddy. However Joe noticed that an unfortunate side effect of using rails is that it makes the high notes sound more harsh and shrill. So he started to experiment with combining the best of both worlds. This puts the rail part of the pickup under the lower wound strings, and puts the pole parts of the pickup under the higher unwound strings. After several player and gear testing approvals he formed the Railhammer pickup company. These pickups sound wonderful and thick when played clean, but they really shine in a detuned and distortion environment. Be sure to check these out in several models available from Reverend Guitars. Also as of the Summer NAMM 2017 Show they will be available as a aftermarket item to Mod in any guitar.
